Since joining South Essex College as a design lecturer I have gained such passion once again for everything creative. Sketchbooks, notes, random doodles, street art just everything I see. I am always thinking about how I can improve as an individual and push my skill set to the max by route of further academic progression. I was reading an article by Partick burgoyne on illustrator Marion Deuchars in Augusts edition of Creative Review. She explains about how there is no such thing as a bad drawing or outcome and that everything we do may not be as planned or as expected yet should be appreciated just as much. A great summer read and it got me thinking. . .
